The Lost Island explores themes of optimization, iteration, and perfection. It compounds, warps, and collages pieces of physical technology once celebrated as triumphs of human ingenuity, now known as catalysts of fatal accidents. 

This piece is currently on display at Stevens Institute of Technology to serve as a reminder to emerging STEM professionals that technological achievement must be balanced with ethical responsibility.
